Terms and Conditions - MTT Electrical, Plumbing & Property Maintenance services (UK)

1. Services Offered:

MTT agrees to provide electrical, plumbing, and property maintenance services as detailed in the agreed-upon contract. This includes but is not limited to the services detailed on our website.

2. Payment Terms:

Clients shall make payments to MTT for services rendered based on the agreed-upon rates and schedule. Late payments may incur additional charges as outlined in the payment terms. For larger projects, a deposit may be requested to cover
Material/service costs that would ordinarily be ordered to allow works to commence I.E Skips, specialist mixed paints, scaffolding, flooring etc. The deposit would be an agreed amount as stated in the estimate. Settlement of an invoice is usually requested at the point of completion of works, unless stated on the invoice or agreed in writing. Receipts can be provided upon request. As we are currently not VAT registered, VAT will not be added to invoices. Payment via Bank Transfer is preferred, although we do accept cash and card payments.

3. Scheduling and Access:

Clients agree to provide MTT with access to the property during scheduled maintenance appointments for electrical, plumbing, or general property maintenance. Any changes to the schedule should be communicated with reasonable notice to allow other works to be arranged and prevent loss of earnings.

4. Client Responsibilities:

Clients are responsible for ensuring MTT has access to necessary utilities and relevant property information for the

completion of services. Failure to provide access may result in rescheduling or additional charges.

5. Termination of Services:

Either party may terminate services with written notice. Outstanding payments must be settled upon termination, and any ongoing commitments should be addressed as per the agreement.

6. Liability and Insurance:

MTT will exercise reasonable care in performing services; however, clients are advised to maintain insurance coverage for potential damages. MTT's liability is limited to the terms specified in the agreement.

7. Confidentiality:

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive information obtained during and after the agreement and not disclose it to third parties. Unless necessary for disclosure for legal purposes.

8. Dispute Resolution:

Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved as soon as practicable either through mediation in accordance with the laws of England and Wales or by other agreed means/processes. If resolution is not achieved through mediation, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Force Majeure:

MTT is not liable for any failure or delay in

performing services due to circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters or unforeseen events.

10. Governing Law:

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

11. Amendments:

Any changes or amendments to these terms and conditions must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.

12. Severability:

If any provision of this agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full

force and effect.
